The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord's Army was a Human Anime

Happinet has just released the key image and full promotional video for the upcoming television anime adaptation of “The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord’s Army was a Human,” a manga by Ryousuke Hata, Kuma, and Anajiro. 

This announcement confirms the July launch date and includes exciting news about new cast members and personnel. Fans may also catch a sneak peek of KOHTA YAMAMOTO feat. Shun Ikegai’s opening theme song, “Ctrl C,” in the promotional video.

Additionally, newly announced staff members include:

  • Sound Director: Satoshi Motoyama

Norihiko Nagahama, who has worked on shows like Black Butler, Gintama, and Laid-Back Camp, is in charge of the production. The series scripts are written by Touko Machida, who is well-known for Battle Game in 5 Seconds and The IDOLM@STER. Masami Sueoka is in charge of character design, and KOHTA YAMAMOTO is in charge of music composition.

Ike, who is known for being “the strongest magician in the demon king’s army,” is praised for his extraordinary magical ability to capture fortresses all by himself. His formidable skills terrify both allies and enemies in equal measure.

However, Ike harbors a secret he cannot reveal to his fellow demons: he is, in fact, human.

Ike commands the army of demons while hiding his true identity, hoping to live in harmony with mankind.

The story will be available until November 2022 on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website, which Ryousuke Hata started in February 2016. The tenth volume of Anajiro’s manga adaption, which debuted on Futabasha’s Gaugau Monster website in 2019, was released on January 30.
