Only a few weeks have passed since the release of Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered, and the fan base has enthusiastically embraced the collection after first being sceptical.

Despite the obvious difficulties in updating a video game trilogy that spans more than 20 years, Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered’s creators appear to have done a good job bringing it up to date. There may be a Tomb Raider 4 remaster as revealed by Twitter user Daniel, who also revealed a noteworthy Easter egg in Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered. Players find themselves at the High-Security Compound, sector of Tomb Raider 3 Remastered where they come across an apparently harmless radar screen, that is hiding some very mysterious secrets.

Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered’s release dates are shown by numerical sequences in the upper left corner of the screen. On the other hand, the part on the bottom right has some really interesting information, with coordinates that lead to Giza and the word “Next.” One of Tomb Raider 4’s most important locations was Giza. The symbolism of the radar goes even farther it could be a reference to the planetarium in the Lost Library and the spiral building that is similar to Lara’s statue in Cleopatra’s Palaces two of the game’s most famous locations.

The developers have included subtle references to this alluring hint throughout the collection so it’s not isolated. Players come across two screens in the Tomb Raider 2 Remastered section of the Offshore Rig. The original release dates of the four games are shown on one screen while messages demanding remasters of the Tomb Raider games are displayed on the second screen as a tribute to the passionate fan base.
