Exciting Updates with Patch 6

Baldur’s Gate 3 recently released its much awaited Patch 6 on February 16 which only served to heighten the anticipation. In addition to several bug fixes, this update brings about a number of noteworthy enhancements, such as improved animations, new camp idle animations, and more Legendary Actions in Honour Mode. Though Patch 6 requires a whopping 150 GB for Steam users and 21 GB for console users, it’s important to note that the files are very large. Steam users also have the option to save storage by simply removing and reinstalling the patched version.

Rumours about the possible release of DLC for Baldur’s Gate 3 are rampant, given that it has been six months since the game’s release. A senior management at Larian Studios made a suggestion in August about post-launch DLC, suggesting that the studio wanted to add more to the game’s setting. Though the development team is also thinking about taking a well-earned vacation following the game’s intense development cycle, the primary focus for the time being is still on support patches. As 2024 draws closer, fans are looking forward to any clues or announcements about new DLC material, however specifics are still hard to come by.
