Call of Duty Franchise into Xbox

The Call of Duty franchise is extremely popular so Microsoft’s decision to include the complete back catalogue in Game Pass seems like a calculated move especially considering that the IP was recently acquired. There are rumours that Xbox may reveal Call of Duty games for Game Pass during its much-discussed June Showcase.

The longer time frame could be linked to the possibility of cloud gaming performance even though specific details are still unclear. Also the idea of smooth streaming becomes more appealing when one considers the possibility of avoiding large downloads and storage limitations linked with more recent Call of Duty games.
