IEM Chengdu 2024 CS2 Format
At IEM Chengdu 2024 they are using a special format for the group stage called GSL-style double-elimination. It is a bit different because three teams from each group will move on to the playoffs. The top two teams from the upper bracket will go straight to the semifinals. The third team will join them in the quarterfinals. During the group stage, teams will play best-of-one matches at first then move on to best of three matches in later rounds.
